The Issues That Matter
Education
Missouri's public schools are chronically underfunded. I will fight against voucher programs that redirect taxpayer money away from public education, and advocate for fair teacher pay — especially for those just starting their careers.
Fiscal Fairness
Replacing the income tax with expanded sales taxes falls hardest on working and middle-class families. I will stand for tax policy that protects the people state government should serve — not special interests.
Infrastructure
District 146 deserves real investment — in internet access, roads, bridges, and the infrastructure that supports daily life and economic opportunity for every family in Jackson and Cape Girardeau County.
Democracy
Missouri voters have passed referendums only to see them undone in Jefferson City. I am committed to respecting the will of the people — not the demands of national political leaders — period.
Rooted in This Community
I grew up in Jackson, graduated from Jackson High School — as did my son Riley, the fourth generation of our family to do so. My great-grandfather served as mayor of Jackson. Public service runs deep in our family.
My mother, Marybelle Mueller, made history as the first woman elected judge in Missouri. I carry that spirit of service into this campaign.
As a former government teacher, college educator at SEMO, and 15-year Instructional Designer, I have devoted my career to this region and its people. I know what families in District 146 need — because I am one of them.
